down in australia we are limited in many guns we can pick. A5 (got one), MM1000/x7 (got one) SP1 (cant decide) and Drone (cant decide) these are the main bushball guns for aust

The SP1 is a ban import but i have tracked down one. They are rare
There is no problem getting a Drone, just might have to wait for stock

Im looking for comments of people that have used both, Pros and cons?

Sp1 is great. Its relatively light, in-expensive, and it doesnt chop. Rugged. Feels well built. I would get it if you hade the oppurtunity. The only con is getting stock for it. you have to either get the 98 stock adapter that lets you use a few stocks, or you get one that attaches to the ASA mount.

Not sure about the drone other than its a high end electro.

First of all I would recommend the drone if you have enough money. Hands down it is the better of the two, of course the sp1 is also a great little marker, but Macdev just makes awesome products.

To be completely fair, the SP1 shouldn't even be in the same discussion as the Drone. The Drone is simply a much better marker...and it has a much higher price tag.

For the price, the SP1 is a great choice but if you simply want great performance regardless of the price, The Drone is my choice! I've been having more fun with the Drone than I have had with any other marker!

Id have to say the SP1 is the underdog on all circumstances. If weever want to see an SP1 varriant surpass something of MacDev magnitude, they better can the Ion innards and put in a shocker or an EOS... and even then, the Drone might beat the living out of an SP Series marker. Id like to try a Drone later on.
