So, who here has seen alpinflauge? If you haven't, look at my pick, it is about the coolest pattern in the world I think. I had to move up into the light alittle and move around so you could see me in the picture, I love it. It is alittle more exotic than most patterns, and it comes from switzerland, but I was wondering if spec ops made special run camo patterns, how many people would be interested. I know if spec ops made a digi lookalike of Alpinflauge, and a german pattern, I would be all over it! :-) Mabey a Anuel special adition pattern that they only sold one year, and the next year they come out with a new one. I know I already have to have some omnipat......Who else thinks this would be awsome?

I'd rather use Omnipat, but it's a cool design. Fall use sounds good, I don't see any use of it outside of forest areas though.

did I die for a second there?...

It certainly is a neat design. You'd actually be surprised how well red actually works in your basic forest. If you know how, one could become concealed completely with a red and black pattern, if one knows what they're doing.

I promise you that you can very very well. It won't do me all that much good in Texas, but if I just put alittle more effort into it I could make it work I am sure, it is like magic guys. :-) I started wearing it just because I thought it looked cool, now I am stuck. :-)

Alpenflauge marudres need to be made, this could be the next hit camo.

I like the looks of this camo pattern very sharp-looking, it looks suspiciously like a russian camo pattern especially the rust-orange colors. Like a Flecktarn/ DPM hybrid. It wouldn't be ideal for every enviornment, in every season, but if one can use the camo right, it could be fairly effective.

If you think about it, some camouflauge patterns look awsome but are useless in any enviornment. Like the Navy's new blue digi uniforms, or the urban-colored BDUs, as Tyger put it, "it can work if your hiding with panda bears, but not much else."

For some truely wicked camo check out Roggenwolf's camouflauge patterns.

DPM is British and Flecktarn is German... aren't they?

Swiss Alpenflauge does look pretty cool though. I still like MultiCam, MARPAT, OmniPat, and CADPAT more, though.

I like all those patterns as well, but for some reason I like the old-school "blotchy" style patterns. When I saw on Mail Call the new digital camo the USMC would be sporting, I nearly threw up, but digi has grown on me.

Yeah, kamouflague.com has many examples of camo patterns throughout the world. One former-Soviet Bloc country's emergency response force used day-glo orange and navy blue on a BDU pattern.
