I recently found a small container of something that is normally used for glasses, with plastic or glass lenses.
The contents had been melted, but i mashed it back up and stirred it up good and it looked fine.
The name of the product is called Optical Gaurd, and their # is 1-800-326-8436.

Here is what I did. I Cleaned the mirror and tried to fog it up... heres what happened.

Obviously this is what you expect.

After the fog went away, i cleaned the mirror again and rubbed some optic gaurd onto it and attempted to fog it up again... heres the result.

Absolutely amazing...

Check it out.

EDIT: Since goggle fog sprays wear off in 2 hrs, 4 hrs ect, tell us about your remedies for fog, besides a great mask ^^

Jesus loves you, everyone else thinks your an idiot.
If there was a fire in your house and the first thing you would grab would
be your paintball gear, put this in your sig.

The day i get shot with a frozen paintball, or any solid object coming from a paintball marker for that matter, will be the first day someone dies from paintball related death thats not an accident.

I just did a drop test on a small mirror that i contitioned with this stuff, and the paint wiped off pretty easily, but even after i wiped it off, the non-fog effect still worked perfectly.

Ill try the shower thing right now, im fixin to go take one anyways. update in 15.

or just go to canadian tire and buy some see-kleer $6.99 .. or any scuba/snowboarding/ski shop .. they'll have antifog for plastic lenses there .. the real test is to leave your mask out in -10C for 10 mins, walk inside turn on the hot shower and let the bathroom get all hot and misty.. then go back outside grab your cold mask, and bring it straight into the bathroom... then see if it fogs.

i've got some see-kleer, and some other stuff both from cdn tire, and they both work great.

i have left these forums do to unequal moderation, please feel free to email/MSN me for all communication

I got out of the shower and the only part that wasnt fogged was the spot i conditioned... it was a pretty hot shower.

I've never heard of a marker fog problem. Did you mean Goggle fog problem? If so just buy a dual payne thermal lens and be done with it.

2 parts water, 1 part baby oil worked wonders for me before i could afford a good thermal lensed mask.

Are there any potentially dangerous chemicals for lenses in it, though? I've heard of some people using cleaners that actually destroyed the lens.

It still looks nifty, though, but a thermal lens usually works fine, too. :P

For starters, it's "pane", not "payne". Payne is typically a surname, not an object. A window has one to two "panes".

Second, how long did the baby oil remedy last? I'm curious to that. I have dual pane lenses, and still occaisonally get fogging on cold days, and my girlfriend has glasses that create more of the problem when she wears a mask.
