Yeah I've only ever played at night one time. My bachelor party. We went outlaw and played in pitch black. Shot my bro-in-law in the top of his head at point blank range. He's ok....I'm pretty sure...

Bwahahaha! That's awesome!

I only go outlaw, so much cheaper. And no field in town so... yeah.

I don't get to play night games as often as I would love to though. Luckily there's some pitch black abandoned buildings around here!

Here's a good one that caught me off gaurd though. Playing a night game once. I had my tac light mounted on the left side of the barrel. I cut a corner and got a line of sight on someone, lined my sights up on them. And right before I fired I went to hit em with the light. Appearently I was just peaking out far enough to clear my barrel and sight around the corner. The light was still on my side of the corner. So it shone on the wall, none of the light got directly to the other player, it all reflected off the wall and flashblinded me instead! I couldn't see anything, of course I missed, and then had to rush off blind into the dark to avoid getting lit up haha!

So I went to the local pb shop and asked about the components it would take to build the bulpup air folding stock. Sounds like about $40 bucks, they said 60-70 assuming that I was gonna let them do the labor haha! In any case, the owner said something about it being cheaper, again assuming I'd be paying them to do it (haha!), to just buy a bullpup air folding stock kit. Which he not only claimed existed, but also said was right there on OPSGear.com

Which I new was bs, given all the time I spend lurking here and genrally surfing the web for cool new mods, I pretty much stay on top of everything that comes out. And I've never even heard of any kind of air mounting folding stock, and if one did exist it would have to be in a much more obscuer place than opsgear for me not to have noticed it. But I smiled and nodded my head and asked for the details on the parts anyway haha! I'd like to say he was just confused and thought I was talking about a simple air through stock (no folding air through stock exists either for that matter), but I explained it pretty clearly, and another guy that worked there got it and also explained it to him pretty clearly. I don't know, I guess he just didn't get it. In any case, as soon as I get a job, I'm getting those parts and making this happen!

Oh yeah and some poorly photoshop'd approximations...

That is totally Brain Trust. I wonder though if the tank might still be somewhat in the way. I mean, it looks good.... I dunno.

Maybe if you put the ASA right up against the hinge, then let the tank SWEEP towards the back at an angle?

Yeah, it would be better to have something awesome like air in mags and not need the bottle on there at all.

But it will always be in the way a little. Well if it's rear swept with the stock extended it's going to wind up being forward swept with it folded. It's wider than the stock so if it's too close to the grip area when the stock folds over, the bottle will be up against your hand, and the stock won't be able to fold over all the way, it'll be sticking out at an angle. Where I picture it, it will be in front of the grip so no interference from my hand, and it will be behind the magazine so no interference with the mag.

I think. Holding it up the way I think it will be only goes so far, eventually you gotta put it on there and see what actually happens...

from what i see, it looks like you are getting "comfortable" with your gun. Playing with the setup over time, and seeing what works or doesn't. In the end, it's all about what YOU want. So many times people criticize my setup, or tell me it's too heavy, or too bulky, or whatever. But at the end of the day, im normally the one walking away leaving my mark. Sure i get defeated as does everybody. But, i find myself taking out more of my opponents, then they take me out. Why? because i have learned to use my gun and adapt it to my play style.

Anyway, just my 2 sense. Someone who has used the same .22 rifle for YEARS and knows how it shoots is far more deadly than a random jackass that goes to the gun store and buys a .50cal sniper rifle. If he doesn't know how the gun drops/fires/kicks/ etc. he is practically useless. Just trying to make a point.

O.o!

Sick!

Yeah, I've been experimenting with it for a long time. Just wish I had more money/resources so I could do more with it...

BRAIN TRUST!

Ha when I was in the Navy and had that decent check coming with uparalleled reliability and never HAD to spend a dime of it on food or rent or anything, I didn't care. My only problem was there weren't any mods out there I wanted. Everything seems to be made to make you gun look "cool" or shoot on automatic with some unreliable auxilery system. While everything I want needs to enhance performance, without negitively effecting reliability, or any other factor for that matter, and doesn't freakin' exist.

This latest idea I've got being the perfect example. There ARE NO bullpup air-in folding stocks out there. It just doesn't exist. Because everyone else is content to just go buy a remote line thats gonna be hangin low, swingin all the hell over the place, you're constantly going to be worrying about it getting caught up on something, and if you're not you f*cking should be. And if and when it does get caught up, you're screwed. You just have to stick it out and untangle it from whatever hoping nobody comes along and shoots your *ss. I run slings, but by their nature just a straight strab the holds the gun and doesn't leave any unnecessary slack they're a hell of a lot less likely to get caught up than a remote line, and then even if they do, release buckle. If I'm in a jam I can hit that button and bam, leave that sling hanging on whatever it got stuck to, and be gone. Even if you have quick release to do this with a remote kit, YOU CAN'T SHOOT THE DAMN THING once it's disconnected! Just one of the most atrocious concepts in projectile launching device design I've ever heard or seen.

Anyway... I'm ranting again. Point is this: the MAIN reason I never can get the mods I really want: They don't exist. Because no-one else seems to have a good grasp on and apply all those tactical thingy's they teach you in the Navy, to paintball.

But if I did have the more money/resources, I could MAKE the mods I want like this bulpup air-in folding stock concept, a lot faster and easier.
