The backstory

At the game before the one we had yesterday one of my friends found out that he screwed up when he put in his steel braided hose so I ran his gun home fixed it and got to mess around with it until yesterday.

At yesterdays game another one of my friends was messind sround with the w.a.s. grip on his a5 and had it over clocked way too much so I fixed that and aired it up. It needs a good oiling ,but I should have that done in a day (stupid lack of oil) and then I get to mess around with it until the next game.

The short I don't like it when my friends get there stuff broken but it gives me something to do and have some fun with it.

(I have to get one of these)

Anyone have any expiriences like this?

Everyone give me their broken markers and I fix them and use them against them at the local field!

Question: Why do you refer to the games as "war"?

No worries. I was just curious. Game or scenario I'm used to. War just seems a bit odd to me.

I know how you feel. I by no means am some mechanical genius. But I can do simple things, so whenever an upgrade needs to be installed I end up doing it most of the time.

My friend completly busted all of his ion o-rings so I had to go through and fix them all, and that was not a fun experience.

I usually fix a good amount of random gear other people have... But a couple of teammates are good with markers too and do their own.

I think I have fixed every single one of my friends markers at one point in time. Some things are as simple as some teflon tape, to other requiring quite a bit of work. It's got to a point where they just say "HEY! FIX MY GUN IT STOPPED WORKING!" . I usually have it back up and running in about 10 minutes. But, like you said it is fun to mess around with them when you get them fixed

Yeah now I'm sitting here messing with the egrip testing how fast I can shoot with it on the different modes. Too bad I don't get to keep it.

I suppose this one would be my 4th gun fixed if you include mine.

Sounds like me before I went overseas. All my paintball buddies handed me their markers when something was wrong. Now I get the occasional "I can't figure out what's wrong with it" marker at the field.
