Chopping comes from the hopper not being able to keep up. Its not hard on the internals. I use mine, usually in burst but change to a little bit of auto when there's a bit of running by us or the opposing team. Depending on the trigger pressure, I can get between 15 and 22 BPS but I'm using a tuned Super RT.

Do you have ACT? If so, then don't worry about chops. That system works pretty well.

Also, a cyclone stock can usually keep up with a stock RT. If the cyclone is too slow it will just turn a little and jerk around like that until it ca complete a full cycle. Usually fine. With a QEV or QEPH, the cyclic rate goes up a lot.

I decided to wait on any fire-speed upgrades, but I think I'm going to go E-Grip, due to relatively no problems with it, ease of installation, and the fact you can use it on any field.

And also, guys, my 98 scares the noobs without RT.

The few response triggers at my field work great. They are VERY fast and the guys that have them never break paint. You just have to have a loader that can keep up. Even though I use a stock mech trigger I allow any rate of fire at my field including full auto and we've never had a problem. I enjoy the challenge of going up against players that use full auto. I frequently ask the other players if they care about the rate of fire and they couldn't care less. I've had a few electros but I went back to a stock mech trigger just because it's more fun for me.

  the E-grip has no problems   I know a few people who have an e-grip and are very happy. I also know a few more who have taken it out and consider it a waste of money.

Also, scare the noobs, it's fun. I love when someone says "I don't want to play against you..." I tell them it's not the gun, it's the player. I've had noobs scared of my pump action, just because it looks different that anything they have.

To all the noobs out there. Don't be afraid of the full-auto guns, fear the guy who takes a pump gun or a pistol out against the full-autos...

I love my RT
The rt is essentially the same as having the world's fastest finger. The trigger just pulls faster than normal. Therefore, the internals are simply working faster. The E-grip would actually be worse for the gun's health (splitting hairs here) because it fires so much faster. They are both great. The RT is a very good choice when using a grav feed. I recently had my Halo stolen and didn't have time to get another hopper. I tuned down the rt to about 6 bps. IT still scared the noobs and allowed for somewhat fast firing, but didn't chop a single ball the entire time. Don't rely on that though, I only played for an hour without agitation.

On the note about some fields not allowing RT systems because they aer similar to ramping is nuts, if the rt triger is mech that means it main firing is semi and you have to hold the trigger to do RT fireing, so you should have no problems with the fields and the RT.

Not true, Paintball Zone's owner said that he cant allow R/T on his field cause it voids damage insurance, being that you can "sweet spot" it.

I agree though, R/T is mech and should be allowed.
