Zomg, reminds me of the time I shot myself in the finger after sticking it in the barrel to clean it out...

Ouch. I'm always worried when looking into the barrel or messing with it when a gun is charged but safed.

Black Wolf I see your point about removal of the uvula due to infection, etc. Never seen it done myself.
Further on the subject, propellant gases(CO2/HPA) injected into the airway/lungs could cause rupture and pneumothorax leading to collapsed lungs. As a Paramedic for seven years, this I HAVE seen.

As a provisional medic for the last year I have seen some cool pneumos. Never from a marker shot though. Once I get my last 2 codes I can take the state exam.

Please let me rephrase...I have not seen a paintball marker cause a pneumothorax. I HAVE seen high-pressure gases cause a pneumo. Not quite a Darwin recipient, but close. Damn good ER docs. :dodgy:

People have to be careful and realize paintball markers are not toys! I would just always assume a marker is loaded even when the safety is on. If it doesnt have a barrel sock on it shouldn't be pointed anywhere not intended to fire.

once i accidentally fired with my barrel sock on and the ball went right through and sprayed my toe.
