I have had my egg 2, for about a year. Great hopper, very fast. A hopper that would work for a while. Thats all the good stuff I have to say. My egg finally died in late november. If you got a jam, it would chop it. Once I had to go home cause y egg chopped a entire hopper and they could not clean it. I give it a 5/10.

-1 for chopping paint
-3 for dying
-2 for not staying in place, it would turn around so I had to front facing me. I even had my clamping feed neck all the way tightened!

dito. my EVO 2 moves a little but that's b\c it's second hand and the former owner sanded the neck...but it only barely moves...and it's never chopped on me either...i'm actually pretty happy with mine, it does sit a little high, but who cares...i give it 8\10

Hate to burst your bubble and be negative, but I had an Egg and it compleately feel apart 8 months later. I bumped it (not even hard) on a tree playing some woodsball, and the feed tube snapped in half. Than when taking it apart one day a whole chunk of plastic fell off it. And the battery door is to fragel (to be more spacific, the little nobs that hold it into the hopper). I'm so disapointed with it. Over all, I would give it a D-, I mean....it did last me at least 8 months of my extensive play.

I just got an ion max'd with the eggy 3 and that seems to be quite the good hopper. I know a guy who has a really old eggy 2 and the only problem is the lid is kind of broken. Quite frankly I think of it as a nice hopper.

The eggy 2 has always been my favorite hopper. Its fast enough for me, and it doesnt look half bad. Pain in the butt to put together the first couple times, but it gets easier to put together. On my current eggy, 1 hinge of the lid is missing but it makes it SOO much easier to open/close. Closing you just push it down and it closes. So ya. Its good. Plus you can adjust the speed with ease. Upgrading the board is very cheap, too. $20 for a zboard, which makes it feed faster.

9/10

my eggy has taken abuse, its been left in the rain (stupid friend) I rammed in against a tree once, nothing not even a scratch. I love it on my ion i dont need anything else. The only draw back I've heard is the battery door breaks easily. overall 9/10

Yes. The battery door is the worst part of the hopper. But thats what duct tape is for. ;)
