Has anyone tried the drilled TPC or fluted hammer from ASP?

I read the MCB and PHOG threads, but always down for more insight...

Is the pump stroke much heavier with the stiffer spring?

the fluted hammer will make a bigger difference, as less of the hammer makes contact with the breach so you get less breach wear and it improves your efficiency through moving less mass.

The ported TPC is unknown to me until now

I believe it has more to do with reducing valve bounce... You typically need a harder main spring with a fluted hammer, so your pump stroke is a little stiffer, but the valve opens more cleanly- going from full close to full wide and back to full close quicker, wasting less air.

The moving mass isn't being moved by air, so it shouldn't have any effect on efficiency directly.

A new guy in the custom Nelson arena is Super Stanchy Customs. He was selling custom stuff at Super Game 41. Had the fluted hammer there. They are significantly lighter.
But I use constant air so I have no real need for better efficiency.

He can be found on PBN as well as MCB.

His custom work is very impresive and he seems willing to try anything. I do kinda like his air through the frame....

If you are looking to try these out and ASP does not have any in stock find Super Stanchy and he can help you out.
