This is the reactionary arm of the German Special Forces, first and foremost an assault unit, capable of responding at a moment's notice to where they are needed most... or prowling the dark boundary forest of the D-Day Field to intercept and deny Allied efforts to maneuver and link up behind German lines.

Your unit is a highly mobile, elite, reactionary assault force, to be deployed at the discretion of the German High Command to counter the movements of the Allies on the field. You will also need to be capable of autonomous action, of knowing when and where your unit must be to strike and counter the Allied advance. The 6th Fallschirmjäger-Regiment must stand ready to respond in force to wherever they are needed most. You must be prepared to fight with a unit that must be fluid, light, swift, and above all else, hard-hitting.

Expect to do battle in virtually every corner of the 700 acre playing field, against any and every unit that attempts to breach passage through German Territory.

The terrain is brutal, the enemy is numerous, the field is massive and your unit will be called upon to counter-attack, ambush, harass, and destroy the enemy wherever the need is greatest.

This is a physically demanding unit, not for the faint of heart.

Scenario and speedball teams or individuals who are serious about their paintball play with the 6th Fallschirmjager because of the challenges our unit encounters on the field. And while we are serious on game day we have a great time hanging out together back at camp.

You must be 15 years of Age at the time of Okla. D-Day 2011.

DATE:
June 6-12

WHERE:
Okla.D-Day Adventure Park, 67001 E 175 Rd, Wyandotte, Okla. 74370

COST:
According to their website registration is $80 for the entire week and air refills. Does not include paint cost. $5 camping fee.

Best time ever! I'm still all tingly over running with the 6th. It's either that, or the chemical burns from pouring glow sticks all over myself. Either way it was AWESOME!

Seriously though, best unit out there in my opinion. We are hardcore enough to be feared on the field, yet laid back enough to have fun on our vacation. It's the right combination for this event.

We want committed teams and players both speedball or scenario to check us out and sign up to play with the best darn unit that takes the field on Saturday morning during Okla. D-Day 2011.

We are the 911 service for the German Army. When there is a need for backup somewhere, anywhere on the field we get the call.

Victory starts with you. Your first step to achieve victory is to sign up with the 6th Fallschirmjager.

We are a little more like 911 mixed with Jo-Jo's Psychic hotline. Someone calls for reinforcements, and we are already there getting the job done.

A year ago I searched for the best team/unit to play with at D-Day. I combed the D-Day forum and took in as much info as I could on all the units there and the personalities in them. There are many great teams to play with at D-Day, but for me, the 6th FJR seemed the best choice. And after spending a week with them, that perception turned into reality. Great people, great paintball players, great competitors. Period.

Flight! GREAT recruiting poster!! You've hit on all the reasons the 6th FJR caught my eye a year ago, and why I'm coming back for more in 2011!!

Why should you join us.
1) The unit is full of good players both speedball and scenario.
2) The week is full of off the field shenanigans.
3) Being a member of the 6th Fallschirmjagers attracts the ladies.

If you or your team are still looking for a unit to wreck crap with during Okla. D-Day. The 6th Fallschirmjager is for you.

Tourney or woodsball experienced players or teams is who we are looking for. Our unit receives some of the most challenging missions during the game. We also have a damn good time playing paintball as well.

Only those who look good shooting paintball markers need apply. No just kidding. But seriously if your face looks like it doesn't need a mask play with the MEK (www.axiscommand.org).
