Just a VERY quick show, filmed between salvos at CMP Entertainment's indoor field.

A quick thank you to Miles over at CMP for letting me take his splatty off the wall to show you people what they look like. Yes, it's not "mint". that just means it's actually been played with, and therefore is worth more in my book.

http://www.cmpmilwaukee.com to see the field!

Cool vid Tyger, I read that it has ball and spring type internal ball détente er something and that possibly this was the first use in paintball? Do you know anything about that?

Off the top of my head, I don't think it did, but I could be wrong. I never tore those guns apart, never owned one actually.

That was a good one...Sometimes I miss my old Splatmaster - got mine in '86 when I first started playing.

I shot Bob Long in the back with a Splatmaster once...good times. B)

First marker I ever used. Every time I see one on e-bay I kind of get the urge to get it for old time's sake. (I probably won't because it would just sit around being tinkered with like the F/A rather than actually being used in a game.)
-95% of people with a flatline think it makes the gun inaccurate; if you are the part of the other 5%, who take the time to sit down and tune it right, put this in your sig.

I own one.
First marker I ever bought.

I carried it as a sidearm for the last 4 years.
Then I lucked into a Tac 8.
I still pack it in my gear....ya never know.

I just picked up a Splatmaster Rapide at a local B/S/T event for $10. I love it, but it didn't come with any loading system. I'm gonna rig one up, but is there anything I ought to know about keeping the thing in shape? The barrel's crap and I just lost my swab, if I run water through the feed hole, will it break anything?

I must know all about my new piece of history!
