I totally support the local fields and love to play on the weekends, but my team needs a place to practice.

Anyone know where we can find a place to practice? The Canyon Road field is, from my understanding, no longer an option.

Thanks
G.

I live right in downtown, and I've just started bussing to Everett. DBS Indoor seems to be a nice enough indoor field. Otherwise, you'll be wanting to drive to Steven's Lake area/Granite Falls for Forest Fire.

Agreed. DBS Indoor recently put down new turf (I'd say about 2 months ago); much nicer, considering the previous turf fell apart and had some concrete exposed (not good). If you're looking for woodsball, definitely hit up Forest Fire in Lake Stevens. DBS also has a rec-ball field in Snohomish that is a blast to play at as well.

I love the idea of playing on a field, but there are good ones south also.

I'm looking to play outlaw, do some training with my team, and work with other teams on tactic. You really can not do that at a pay field...

Forest Fire would be more than happ to work with you on tactics and stratigies...they need fresh targets for their upcoming SPPL games!

We have too many military bodies- and too spotty attendance - to think SPPL.
We rode on the winds of the rising storm,
We ran to the sounds of the thunder.
We danced among the lightning bolts,
and tore the world asunder.

Friend of mine moved from here to Denver. I am so jealouse of their paintball scene. Like 3-4 different renegade fields are designated. They have like 300 to 400 people on a text list and email list and have games every 2-3 weeks at any of these given fields. Everyone gets a text and email as a reminder. Its all bring your own paint and air. Most players are sppl quality. I guess beginers are rare as alot f the guys just run ramping and full auto...definately not for a beginner.

Consistant turn out is 60-80 players. If I had more spare time I would setup something like that here. Lord knows we have the population to have something similair. How cool would that be?

I have heard that there is an outlaw field in West Seattle. The best that I can tell you is to head over the surplus store in Georgetown, not in Seattle or by QWEST field, but down around 4th and Michigan, and ask them. They may be able to help you out.

I would recommend checking with Splat Attack or DZ, but....

Well, I know that it won't work with Splat Attack, since the private groups book the urban field all of the time. So maybe DZ? Since they are on base and all...

I believe you are talking about Nate's Surplus, which is pretty much on the corner of 4th and Michigan...right next to the McDonalds on 4th. I walked in there once out of curiousity but I drove by it everyday on my way home from an old job.

Gang Green is a very fun group to play with, so if you're looking to play some outlaw ball I would suggest checking out their site.

Yeah, Nate's Surplus. I worked there for a minute, so I remember that about every other weekend, there would be a few people that would come in and get their CO2 tanks filled, and maybe pick up some paintballs and other last minute stuff before heading out to the outlaw field. I just remember that it was somewhere in West Seattle. Never did find out.
