As for some playing tips:
Play so that you present the smallest target to your opponents as possible, whether from behind cover, or in open field.
Wear clothing that moves, breathes, and blends in with your surroundings.
Play in at least pairs, alternating suppression and flanking tasks between team members.
Don't bunch up. Maintain spacing of no less than 5 feet.
Never look over cover to locate opponents or view the field.
Never look from behind cover in the same place twice.
Work the sides of the field so you only have to worry about an attack from one side, but don't get trapped against the boundaries.
Don't get pinned down. Keep moving. If you start taking fire, take a couple of steps and drop to cover. Then coordinate a counter-attack or retreat to better cover and then a counter-attack. If you have to, drop to the prone position and slide back from your cover to escape.
Never turn your back on your opponents. Fall back in a coordinated manner, firing short, controlled bursts to keep the opponent honest.
Don't carry more paint than you have gas propellent.
Never approach an objective straight-on, always take a zig-zag path to your objective, working cover as much as possible, and never all of your team at once.
Have a good time, and keep playing. You'll get better with experience, and continue to enjoy the game while you're at it.

If you tape up the porting on the stock barrel, the accuracy improves a ton. I dunno if this is known fact, but I found out about it somehow.
I told my bro about this, he tried it. It works great.
