Alright, I've known for many years that I suffer from OCD. My main obsession is to count everything. I count my steps, tiles, words, numbers, ect ect. I know that I do this, and it never really phased me before. The reason that I am posting this is because I am on vacation. On my way down to the Beach, my friend and I would make videos talking about the trip and everything else. When we got to our hotel, I noticed that I did something strange. I would move my mouth in a certain way all the time. I never realized that I was doing it. In every video that I made, you can see me doing it. Now that I realize that I'm doing this, its driving me crazy. I try to stop myself, but I can't. I'm not sure if a doctor can prescribe something to relive me from this, but I need to know if there is anything that I can do.

Another thing, does anybody else suffer from this? I goggled OCD Symptoms, and out of everybody that has OCD, 2.6% have the counting obsession.

So because I play scenarios, I won't buy a high-end unless it has rails at useless angles, and has a machine-gun shroud bolted on it?-Maduce

Relax. You're just special.

I'm kinda like you too. Exept I'm CDO. It's pretty much the same as OCD exept the letters are in aphbetical order, the way they should be.

I try to relax, but I can't. I look stupid when I do it, and I do it all the time from what my friend sees. He tells me that I'm doing the mouth thing again, but I can't stop it. Its like blinking and breathing. You do it without realizing it.

I don't have OCD, but I do have Asperger's, which has some OCD-like symptoms. I tend to obsess on things I take an interest in, do certain things the same way every time, notice patterns in things that other people would not notice, etc. I also have some odd physical mannerisms. That aspect of it doesn't really bother me, though. It's the social problems that go with it that are the bane of my existence.

The best thing I can recommend is to try not to worry about it. Although I know that's easier said than done, particularly since you're probably obsessing on it now. In more severe cases there are medications that can be prescribed, but it doesn't sound to me like you are severe enough to warrant it.

When I turn off the water for fossets and stuff, I have to turn it off and on a couple of times to make sure I turned it totally off. It's the same thing with locking doors and turning off lights. Also..when I wear glasses, I have to adjust them constantly to make sure they are centered perfectly. I think these are OCD symptoms...

Haha, that made me laugh.

And I keep doing it. Another weird thing I do is, when I'm walking through my kitchen, I avoid certain tiles. I count all the stairs in my house. I count every word that has more than 5 letters in it.

I have slight OCD, Paranoia, Anxiety, and a few others that I don't feel like typing out.

Also, I'm partially psychic. I can tell when people are about to sign into chat. Sometimes, it even freaks me out.
