Be sure to read the labels carefully so you find the spray that is safe to use on aluminum otherwise you may eat into the surface of the parts.
Following the label spray, let the solution sit rinse and repeat if needed.
If done properly you will have a nice smooth clean piece of aluminum ready for your own look to be added.
Now if you are trying to pull the color off an anodized part like the barrel you will need to use a chemical etching agent that will remove a layer of metal taking the anno with it.
The easiest chemical to get is sodium hydroxide. If that is the case then you need a whole different set of instructions that I can get into later at your request.
