Ok.
I bought an ego 08. The guy I bought it from also had a couple air tanks for sale as well. As they were pretty good deals I bought one.

Then today, I was sitting in class and like a hammer to the head I thought "Oh crap- arent' Egos Low Pressure? What if the tank is a high pressure tank? Why didn't I think of this before??"
PANIC!!!!!!!!

So I'm having kind of a hard time finding anything about these tanks- My basic question is, will my Ego work with a tank like this one- http://www.firstcall...ore/show/114167?

Or did I just do something stupid?.... :-/

How's that for a contradiction?

Your Ego has a reg on it. As long as that isn't turned too high you're good to go.

The regulator on the gun will take it down to the pressure needed. You're fine.

Whew!
Ok. Great!

Had a feeling it would be ok- the guy I got it from said he aired it up and used it once, but he didn't say wheather it was with the Ego or another marker- that's what got me worried.

Thanks guys!

I have heard that it is actually better to use a high pressure tank, unless you have an angel.

Actually, I believe it's the opposite.
Using a high pressure tank makes your regulator have to do more work. If you're using a low pressure tank, the reg doesn't have to lower the pressure as much.

Though I could be epicly wrong here. That's just what I've been told by "experts". I've never bothered testing because my guns run fine on high pressure.
My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

Theoretically running a LP tank on a marker with a reg will cause less wear and tear on the reg internals, but if I'm not mistaken, reg's aren't much to worry about. ;)

You're fine. I run HP on all my markers until I traded away my HP tank for a LP tank. :)

Ya, I am probably wrong. I don't even own an electro or Air tank. It is just what I have heard.
