Personally, seems like a stupid move to me (on part of the Liberals...).

I haven't kept up with *most* of the stuff going on, but aren't the Conservatives UP in the polls? Didn't we shut down this crap LAST time because we didn't want to waste a ton of money on ANOTHER election so soon?

Thoughts?

Not sure I'd put the Greens ahead of even the Liberals myself... but agree. Honestly, we don't have money to waste on this election BS. We also don't have the money for them to concede an extra $1 billion for the budget for NDP or whoever's demands - from what I hear, they offered $300 million in concessions and it still got them crap all.

Honestly, people are like oh no, he'll take away democracy...

Well, 1) I'm pretty sure he can't. Not in one term.

2) If any politicians have any integrity at all, even members of the Conservatives would vote against such measures.

Frankly, a majority will get stuff DONE. For once.

I am also not sure which I would place first... Green or Bloc. Lol.

I wish I could vote for the Pirate Party of Canada. Sadly they haven't got a candidate in my riding and I'm not up to the task myself.

Can we do one of these in America. Cause I'm pretty sure no one has any confidence in our whole Government. I'm amazed they even got the budget passed.

I think Obama had good ideas but, like in our government, people just don't want to cooperate and they want concessions that are either not tangible or mess up the whole point of the plans...

I'm voting Conservative - majority government to finally get crap done.

Haha I like how we just ignore the Bloc and Green parties... I enjoyed the editorial comic in my University paper the other week...

This was shot before the NDP imploded or whatever happened to them:

"Its very hard to grasp the idea at first but once you accept it, it makes A LOT of sense!" -- Minnesota Sn1p3r on conspiracy theories
"Everyone instantly jumps the conclusion that the government is out to get us." -- SWAT SAINT
"Bad Duce, bad." -- Ace-014
"Good man, Duce, good man." -- Tryon
"Also accepting female snipers." -- Lt.Col.Vortex

I love how SO many people want to get behind the pot partys, but not a single one wants to pay the prices of legal dope.
yo tools. if its legal it gets taxed. and your in Canada, meaning your wallet will be empty, so you could roll it up and smoke that too!

Which is why I am still not totally for legalization.
Decrimination, okay.

However, someone (I forgot who) did a little math. If 1/3 of the current American Marijuana smokers bought legal, taxed ganja... we could take a big chunk out of the national deficit in the next 10 years.

You know, not including the savings in health care (does it work that way down there?) from people not dying from laced crap they got from the friendly neighbourhood drug dealer.

Healthcare? What's that?

But you have a good point. Always buy from a reputable dealer :P
