Sorry to disappoint guys but I've tried it and it works. You have to throttle the trigger on full auto. The r/t trigger allow you to shoot slower if you gently pull the trigger. But held down it will take off.The cyclone feed keeps up but barely. You need to put a force fed hopper on it to keep up. The only hopper that can do that is about $200. I think its a Halo.

Sounds amazing! Could you videotape a demo and post it up for use to observe?

it is easy enough to check.. put up a vid, it can be synched with sound and counted .... 40bps .... im gonna say not even dry firing.. in your vid, make sure you take the vid of the cyclone cuz that would have to be strobed to be counted correctly

Sorry to burst your bubble...but the fastest Tippmann I have ever seen...24 bps. Yes it was an A5. It was also modded to use the Qloader. The gun simply could not cycle any faster.

The fastest gun I have ever seen actually shoot paint..Cyborg. 34 bps using a Chetah boarded Halo.

Both of these observations were made with a chronograph measuing the bps.

I can not explain how fast 34 is. It is simply beyond amazing.

I do not believe you are hitting 40 bps. Sorry.

Well if you go to the TechT page one of the youtube videos says "27 BPS" on an A5 with the fully upgraded cyclone....
http://www.techtpain...upgradekit.html

Mind you, I also pointed out to them their horrible math with the ACT Zero Kick Hammer...it has not 58% lighter, but 58% of the original weight (42% lighter) :P
They changed it but you can still see the old image with 58% on third party sites (not that this is THEIR video, but still can't always trust what you read).

BUT Cyclones are like so much better than rotors and prophecys. Cyclones feed way faster.

I know but there isn't constant pressure on the balls to fed them. It only firers short burst with the cyclone.

This made me lol...

I've seen my cousin's gun go 34bps, but never a tippmann over 25bps. There are video of 54bps on youtube (can't validate they're real though), but I don't think the paint could be fed that fast.

Aim for anything that is visible, most of my shots are either leg, elbow or head... that is if you see me first.

Some people say they can cycle like that at over 90bps and whatever but really from what I've heard (I only have a cyclone, never tried electronics) the Dye Rotor is supposed to be the fastest loader at max about 50bps  (with upgrades?)
