Good point. I keep forgetting that DP Fusions are in that price range. I would go that route over a PM.

Look into the Alien markers. You can get an Interceptor for $250 used. Lightweight, great on air, easy on the wallet, and pretty simple to maintain.

I second that, I just used my new(slightly used) 05 ceptor yesterday for the first time. In short it rips, fast, light, accurate, quietish, comfortable frame. I love it and highly suggest getting one.
WVU Tech Mechanical Engineering. Class of (should be 2009, but its not!)

Get a mini, velocity, and dxs tank. The mini is light, reliable, fast, and really tight.

In that price range your considering, I'd look at the Etek line from Planet Eclipse. They are easier to maintain than any of those other markers, will be more reliable and will most likely end up treating you better in the long run. Heres a link

Not really. You still have to take the ram and that stuff out to get a decent clean. Mini just has 1 bolt for the whole assembly.

You only need to clean the rammer maybe one in five times you play anyway. The Mini's bolt should be relubed every time you play, much like a matrix. Plus, removing the rammer on an Etek is just as easy, if not easier, than removing the bolt on an Ego.

Even if they do matchup in the maintenance department, the Ego is still a far more reliable and air efficient gun.

I don't know, I may ball with some meticulous people because they took out the rammer with the bolt most of the time.

Reliability, i don't think so even though I'm sure it is reliable just not anymore than the Mini. However, can't argue about the efficiency since the Mini isnt a true poppet really.
