I'm going to be getting back into paintball here again come spring and I want to build another Mag b/c I loved my RT when I owned it.

I want it to be light as possible, Level 10, ULT, the works pretty much.

I'm thinking of going with just a ULE body, Tac One Rail, CCM ASA and Ygrip.
I may get it Pneud as well if I do end up going forward with this build.

Good idea? Bad idea? What do you guys think?

You use a lot less money by buying the Tac-one right off the bat considering the Tac-one's body is worth $200 of the $400 something youll be wasting. The current gen Tac-One has the best fidgets and what-nots that can be put on the RT ULE for a lower price. This is of course assuming you will play woodsball. If its for speedball then dont let me stop you from buying the ULE. I know a couple of things about mags send me a PM if you want any more help. The AGD website will let you build your own ULE or Tac-one mag so take your time and play with it for a while. Reason why I recommend the Tac-one is because of its Longbow availability for just $50 more and because of its better reliability on woodsball turf

I was thinking of just buying the Tac One and swapping the body and grip b/c I do plan on using it for speedball, hence why I'll possibly go the Pneumag route.

Where on the website can you build a ULE or Tac one? B/c I was actually on there last night and didn't see anything about that.

You are going to be hard pressed to find a YGrip. They are getting more uncommon. You'd probably have to buy one off Automags.org

Oh I know. I remember trying to find a used one last year and it was so hard.
I'm gonna have to just pay full price and get it off the website.

On the build page Enhander linked, you can select a Y-grip in place of the Intelliframe for only $11 extra.

Building a Mag is allways a good Idea !!!
I'm not really sure if Pnu parts will fit very good in a Y frame , I do know they won't fit on a Z unless you mill it
A correctly tuned X valve with a LX & a ULT is very walkable
what about a 90* frame ?? , there is a new frame around called a Magnus , 90* has all the screwholes & brackets built in for a Pnu setup ( it was designed for easy Pnu builds )
As far as parts go , you can find anything you need over on AO

PS Ninja Monkey is fixin to sell his Tac One , if you want something for a starting point ( he got the X disease )

I heard about the Magnus from reading some posts over at AO but I've never seen what it looks like. I may consider especially since it was designed for pneu builds.

Ah sweet man, thanks.
I checked out tunamart to see if it was there but I didn't see it when I checked. Must have overlooked it.

I think I'm gonna go with the Magnus now instead of the Y grip.

EDIT: This build probably won't start for awhile but I'm pretty set on what I want with it.
-Magnus Frame
-Tac One Rail
-ULE Body ( Would LOVE to find a Dallara body but theyre rare and cost a pretty penny)
-X Valve w/ Level 10
-ULT
-Pneumatic Kit

Money is tight for me right now so I'm not sure how long it'll be til I'm able to start this build and it could change by the time I do start it b/c I'm constantly browsing forums getting different ideas.

Your intended build sure would cost a pretty penny. The price on that frame is pretty high. I'm not saying it isn't "worth" it as it looks like an amazing timesaver, just that it certainly adds a bunch to the cost of the project. And your probably right, you may change your mind between now & then!

Oh I know it'll cost a good bit but that's just part of building a mag to fit me.
