Ok, I live in georgia and its HOT. I really like to play in basket ball shorts. But, I have had previous knee injuries and need pads. These will be primarily be used for speed as I don't play as hardcore on my knees in bushball. Anyway, I need some kind of low profile pad that slides OUTSIDE OF PANTS. Is there one that exists? I would like some until I complete my pants project and just in case those knee pads don't work out.

Thank you.

EDIT: forgot to mention they need to slide well. I play front when in a speedball game.

Well, when i used to skate i would wear wrestling knee pads cus there light at comfortable. I know they stretch pretty good cus i could put them on even with my skates on. I think some of them might have velcro. Look at this maybe it will give u an idea

I used to wrestle, so I have some, but I don't know if they would slide though. Most are made to grip the mat. How about the ones that you used to skate?

Oops, I probably should have put the slide factor into the original post.

Thanks, I never thought of using those I gonna take em out and see if they slide.

welp when i used to skate i could slide pretty easily, on the ramps tho. Idk how theyll work on like grass and what not. I just figured cus theyr really light. I bet theres some out there that would be made up of a diff material that could slide easier

How about a Knee/Shin Guard such as this;

http://www.pricepoint.com/detail/16215-536...Shin-Guards.htm

It's a bit much but I think you could find something like them for less. They may not slide the best though, but you may find some like them that would.

yeah, those look good, maybe soccer pads. Or something like it.

I think my best bet for slides is high impact plastic, what do yall think.

If you have an Ebay account you might look there, I did a quick search for Knee/shin guard and it brought up 56 under $35.

well my ex-girl friend said volleyball pads are great. they are very light, go nowhere, and are very comfortable. im sure if you were to wear them on the outside of your pants, they would stay no matter what you did

one thing you have to remember is with plastic pads there will be NO bounce factor. 99% of hits will break.

Just sayin....
