Ok...I had a MatchStick tip laying around. Not being used.
And I really like short barrels...

SO I have a new MatchStick tip!

This will be fun the next time I hit the woods! Should be loud and in your face!

Yowza! That's pretty wild- can't wait to see/hear how it shoots. Any chance at some vid? Would love to see if it's not as accurate and how loud it really gets. You do appear to have a little too much free time on your hands. :(

Short barrels FTW! I rock a 3 inch barrel on my A5.

Hmm, couple this with your new angle frame (Patent Pending!) and you'd have the ultimate snapshooter! :P

Rock on. Long barrels are for those not in the know.

How did you cut that off? It's a really clean job!

HEHEHE...Dremel tool! Yup...Dremel. Than a little trip to the belt sander and I softened the edges with a small millbastard file. Took about 20 minutes.

20 minutes well spent, then- and yeah, that would rock on the angle-frame. Too bad you can't dremel that poor marker back to health, but it does show you how 180+lbs and aluminum don't always mix :) I occasionally rock a 4" on a few of my guns, and I guess it's one case where size really doesn't matter... :)

I did mine with a pipe cutter, it took like an hour. :)

Looks nice for a freehand job, or did you use your Dremel Mill? :)

Couldn't use the pipe cutter here because of the flare in the milling on the barrel.

Yeah my Dremel Mill was not align properly so I went free hand with the abrasive disk!

I used a barrel back only on my Droid a couple months ago so basically a 1/2 inch shorter version of this and the accuracy loss was negligible. Made a $1,000 spoolie sound like a $50 Spyder though :P

Hahaha! It's kind of the marker equivalent of putting a buzzy exhaust tip on you car like an import tuner... how to make a $25,000 Acura sound like a $ 2,000 lawnmower. Nice!

Nice line. I really like the look of the freaks with the tips that are really short and have spiral cuts in them, especially on snipers.
