So for Christmas I decided to give my brother in law something special. His cousin does this thing called "hydrographics" where they put a finish on things (anything as it turns out) using a process that is somewhat like those old water decals you put on your plastic models. I've handled the finish on something he did, and it seems pretty tough. So I had him do a M98 for me. He's supposed to have it done this week or next, so after I get it, I'll post pics.

He showed me prices, and while $100 (I got a discount. ;) ) is a bit pricey for a M98, it's not a bad price for an awesome finish on your high-end marker.

I've seen this stuff. Supposedly it's pretty legit. What pattern/finish did you go with?

I have no idea how good the finish actually is, but I've seen videos of the process and it fascinates me.
I'd love to hear how it turns out - both right away and after some abuse!

I went with woodland digicam.

Here's his Facebook page so you can see what he does.

I had not seen deer skulls done like that before. That's pretty cool.
