I never really liked having the Q-loader slung under the barrel so i decided to mount it on the side of my ion. I'm glad I did. The balance is awesome now.

I also made a very complicated trigger mod. lol. I play as a "sniper/ghost flanker" a lot so I do a lot of sneaking around. There have been multiple times i've been sneaking up on someone and a branch or something will hit my trigger and shoot the gun giving away my position. So I decided to make the trigger pull heavier by putting a spring out of an ink pen between the trigger and the frame. It's real fancy...not, but it works great.

I like the idea, only thing that would stink about it is if they go by getting shot in the marker as an out. That sticks out a bit so it might be a problem.
But nice idea never the less.

Caissey... consider though that while you're holding the marker, your goggles or chest would likely be directly behind the pod. If the pod wasn't there you would've been hit anyways.

ger is right. When holding the marker the pod is in front of my body. It would only be a problem if i were left handed. Hopper hits were one of the biggest factors in me choosing the longbow/q-bow setup. I hated getting out because someone shot my hopper. I love using the longbow mags for small games or where I am playing as a sniper/ambush player. However, sometimes I just want to run and gun like everyone else. The q-loader gives me that ability, but mounting it under the barrel is no better than a regular hopper in my opinion, if not worse. Right now I'm working on painting her and shortening the q-loader hose so that the paintballs will still feed but give it an even tighter profile.

Yeah true. I just dislike some rules of getting out because the hopper. But it definitely is cool.
