So I've got a '73 CJ5 I'm getting back into shape. The liquid check valve on it is more or less missing and I've been looking for a replacement for awhile now without any luck. Does anyone know of any sites that might carry it? And if anyone has suggestions for a manual that has really good diagrams and schematics I would love to hear it.

There is a official manual to every jeep and you should be able to order one on the internet.

im not sure exactly where you find these subscriptions but my dad (jeep fanatic even though he hasnt owned a jeep in 5+ years) found tons of free subscriptions to jeep parts magazines. mostly jeep restoration too.

i think he found them through jeep websites and message boards so id keep my eye out for those.

slightly off topic but i remember the first time i read a jeep magazines, i didnt realize they were inline engines so when i found a set of headers i saw 6 pipes come off it so i almost had a heart attack because i thought that meant there were v12 jeeps

thankfully i figured it out soon after when i turned the page and saw engine blocks :)
