It's possible but not recommended. The SP8 is the same as the Ion.

You would have to run an anti syphon, (or at least a remote line), but in the cold that is not guaranteed to keep the electrics safe.

so a remote line would suffice?

It will work as an expansion chamber, so ought to suffice, but you could still get inconsistency with the weather conditions.

CO2 isnt recommended, but if you have an expansion chamber or a remote it should be ok. if you dont have either, you need it anti-siphoned

I hope you know that isnt a CO2 tank. If you are using that, that is an HPA tank, which you can use.

I highly suggest to never use CO2 with your gun, especially in the winter. The cold makes it very difficult for CO2 to expand.

So that tank is empty... any reason in particular you don't just get it filled?

And yes I know who noxx55 is... he's a pretty well known guy. Does some pretty good custom work on Mags and Cockers, also worked with Metadyne industries to make a Twistlock to Cocker thread adapter for Automags, makes a stock that's a lot like the SpecOps T2W, and a few other things as well.

so, if you have an HPA tank...get it filled? or are you wondering if you can use CO2 as a backup tank?

You may use CO2, I would never use CO2 myself, but if you have the remote, along with the reg(which acts an expansion chamber) you should be safe, just keep your ROF very low. And never use an anti-syphon tank along with a remote coil(well in an ION, blowbacks are okay). Because an anti-syphon would be sucking up all liquid and no gas.

Double barrel? Guessing it's a PPS Nasty of some kind... was it a pump or semi?
