I don't see why it wouldn't but why would you want a bipod on an Ion?

Cool. Good luck with it.

Unless the barrel is Impulse threaded it won't work.

I would wait and use the Ion a little before you upgrade. If you think that you still need all the milsim upgrades after than then buy them. However, I would buy performance upgrades before cosmetic upgrades. Milsim upgrades tend to do very little to help the performance of the gun and just add weight.

Alright. First thing; whats with the emoticons after every paragraph? Second thing: I'm begging you, please please don't do this to your ion. You will NEVER use the bi pod. I'm not joking, they're completely impractical.

What now?

I was thinking the same thing so I probably will not get the bipod and I am going to use it some before I consider getting anything else for it.

Do you need a Q-lock to attach a hopper to an Ion Xe ,or does it just make it more secure?

It makes it more secure, I would look into getting one of those, and even the epiphany upgrade kit for the marker. It comes with a new board (blackheart), a fire bolt and new inserts and firing can for the marker.
Coming soon.

I suggest you check out Custom Products. They have great products such as regs, barrels, feed necks, and asa's.
