EXERCISE EXAMPLES

Quote

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We€™ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don€™t change programs.

The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

Thousands of athletes worldwide have followed our workouts posted daily on this site and distinguished themselves in combat, the streets, the ring, stadiums, gyms and homes.

I tried this when I was using a false account (the account got banned, it's no secret, don't worry) And it never took off. I'm not concerned with making this popular. Some people aren't cut out for it, but I'm going to post the WOD everyday for anyone who's interested. I'll be doing the workouts everyday. If you are interested in comparing numbers and/or times with me and everyone else then just post a reply of how you did for the work out and I'll do the same.

Wait-I thought the double under was that thing where you're in a pushup position but you're doing that ducking back and forth motion?

Expensive....

I don't know much about it. It's a workout video you buy, it's designed to take advantage of muscle confusion exercises. That's all I know about it though.

(We've always called that push up a dive bomber, lol. I dunno the proper terminology for it though) They always make us make airplane sounds when we do it.

Oh-I can't even do a normal jump rope. I can if I don't use a rope-but with a rope...well it gives all the other guys something good to laugh at! lol

Push press? Would that be another term for pushups? Man, I really need to get with the times. And what's that-do 7 of them?
