I just got back from playing paintball. As i look in my friends trunk to take out my gear i found out he accidentely stole a mask. I looked at him and sighed cause he accidentaly always steals arm bands due to him forgetting they're on him. I'm returning the mask to the retail store they own cause i live 5 miles away from it, but this brings up a question.

Have you ever accidentaly stole somthing at a paintball field, and what?

YOu can also say what you stole "UNACCIDENTALY" but i believe we'll all frown at you and call you a thief.

Hasn't happened to me. I have left things behind though.

I can see things like an arm band going home, but a mask or a marker?

I never have but I guess I can see it happening accidentaly. Things happen, thats why fields dont rent out top of the line equipment. Return it and make it a point to remember next time. Once ya, twice you might be some what of a cluts like me, after that geeze! Something as big as a mask isnt like something you put in your pocket and forget about.

That's just another part of playing with Newbies. I got my name on my gear but I have had newbies grab my I3 Pro mask a few times thinking it's their JT rental mask. Worst part is most staff don't know the difference either. ;)

Newbs turn in the wrong kit a lot of times. Also barrel plugs, arm bands and many other things are common to go missing when they put things in thier pockets.

My teammates have forgotten arm bands. But we're always back at our home field, so we just re-use them when that happens.

I've seen people leave things, but never seen someone accidentally walk away with anything bigger than arm tape. The worst was some visitors passing by who were from Kansas left their driver's license (rental collateral at my home field).

When I worked at skirmish, a lot of rec players didn't realize they'd have to hand in their rental as they walk off the field, even though we would stand right there with the marker bins. <_<

i had my DT at a scenario game and went to get a gatorade, when i came back some kid had just reached his hand where the front grip was and was about a half a second from picking it up, either to fondle it or to thief it. so i walked up behind him and said "pretty isnt it?" he turned around and realised why such a big gun was sitting there.... it had a big owner. lol he about crapped himself, but then we started talking and i found out he was new and had never seen anything like it. i think it was innocent, but if i had seen it floating away, i wouldve had a new barrel bag.

I just got back from my dad's house and returned the mask to the store. The guy thanked me and said normally if a mask goes missing they never see it again. He thanked me again and said it was greatly appriciated.

Honesty a lesson for a better world.
