lose the carry handle. Go for the flattop M16 look. also a red dot will suffice for the distances a paintball flies and a 4x1 is unnecessary.

That thing might be a little heavy but if you can handle it, more power to you!

Might I recommend a Red Dot Scope? Any magnification doesn't serve much purpose because a paintball won't fly fair enough to be effective.

EDIT: thisissparta and I said almost the same thing...haha

I would use the scope like a pair of binoculars. I don't really "use" a sight either. the carry handle is pretty much used as a riser. I just like the mil-sim look.

That's what weights were invented for.

^^^I was going to recomend replacing the scope with a red-dot too. However, I have used a magnified scope for spotting purposes before, and it works pretty well, so go with that if you think it will fit your playing style. Just try not to get sucked into using it when you're shooting - the magnification will throw off your distance judgment.

Other than that, I like it. It should have a pretty clean, intimidating appearance. Make sure you get a quality stock - mine was rather "wobbly."
Post some pictures if you put it together!

Second that! really no need for carry handle unless you use it for a sight mount.

Which mount are you going to use? I think they all have to be modded to fit.

Thanks! the carry handle isn't actually shaped like that though. I'd like to use it as a riser so I can mount the scope or some sort of sight.

Thats a pretty sweet scope with mount but I don't think its good for paintball but if it works for you its all good. I think its a little more than you need. It would be easy to just get a riser mount plus stronger, with a lower profile.

Go for it! If it works for you don't let other people tell you other wise. Wanna see pics when done. Thats a sweet scope!
