Response Trigger for the A5 CO2 sprayed everywhere
Posted 20 December 2008 - 12:10 AM
I installed the A5 Response Trigger today and when I hooked my Co2 into the gun everything was fine. But when I pulled the trigger, Co2 sprayed out in multiple places in my gun. The area the sprayed the most gas was at the tombstone latch/adapter thingy. It kept spraying for a few seconds, and it didn't seem like it was going to stop, so I unscrewed the Co2 tank from the gun. The whole gun was like ice cold. The little metal stick that comes out of the RT cylinder moved right up against the trigger. I'm not reallly sure what to do...As far as i know, i hooked it up properly. Does anybody know what happened or any ideas about something I did wrong? Thanks! The tombstone latch looks like its cracked.

Hmm, where else did it spray out? If the tombstone is leaking it's most likely the o-ring there, I don't own an A5 but I know that the tombstone can eat those o-rings. If the gun was not cocked when you aired it up, the valve could have been held open by the hammer and caused the RT piston to actuate, and also for gas to come out of other places.
