Heh, that's why I love my Throttle tank-it comes with both right out of the box.

I think all Throttle tanks come with both (almost positive they do from what Marauder Pilot said) then you should be good.

Hey. You only get fined if you are caught FILLING the tanks, right? Not USING a tank that has no TC designation.

Your in Toronto, its an hour drive to Buffalo, NY, USA.... get the tank filled, then cross back over the border. Heck, start a business transporting empty CO2 and HPA tanks with no TC number, make a killing of other people in the same boat.

Why are you complaining again? :ghillie:

For example If a company such as Action Village is selling at tank it will say that this tank cannot be shipped outside the U.S.

Does anyone know whether DXS air systems have both? Because I just won a brand new off Ebay, and that would really suck if I couldn't use it.

Man wish I would have read this thread a few weeks ago. Bought a tank off ebay for a decent price, turns out it only has the dot sp code and my local scuba shop won't fill it for the above reasons, had trouble getting it back off them too. Contacted the company and they will replace it with a tank with a TC code. Crossfire is good people. B) After all this shipping its not as good a deal as it was though, seller was a bit of an ignorant butt to deal with, don't buy off 3629phil on ebay, if you got a problem they will leave ya hanging, and no knowledge.

An extension to this that people tend not to understand:

IF you do NOT have a TC-SU stamped tank, it CANNOT be transported into Canada, whether you can get the tank filled in the US or not. Period.

From what I have been able to find through my office at the DOT, Transport Canada does not recognize ANY other certifications other than TC-SU. The USDOT does accept TC-SU and Pi stamped tanks for certfication and retesting.

I'm darn near positive that Draxxus, Crossfire and Pure Energy are all tri-stamped. Draxxus definitely has a TC because it's a canadian company. Pure Energy instated a new tri-stamp program three years ago.
