I was playin a winter game with my friends [zombie(most of you halo players know what it is)] anyway it ended up bein four on one...i was one. where i was there was some heavy brush cover and i heard them formulating a sweep. I found the closet spot that had the most cover and froze. One of my friends came not but 10ft from me and he's like "I see him...i think." so he takes a a couple precautionary shots and i'm doin the best i can to not move. After 2-3 minutes of him tryin to see if im really there i accidentally flinch and he starts to unload. It didnt take long for the rest to find me. I got out, but it was the coolest experience i've had.

The closest I have gotten to someone without them knowing was at my last birthday party. I was held down by fire behind a tree and I noticed someone moving up towards my position. I waited until the opposition quit firing, stuck my head around the tree and layed down some suppression fire. Then, I moved forward very quietly towards the enemy. Once he noticed I was there he started to come towards me and fire. We battled it out, but I won. It wasn't exatly stealthy, but it worked. It ended up that the opposition was my dad.

I actually flanked my own team with an enemy, I didnt realize he wansnt on my team until he started shooting at players I knew were on my team.

My band had fallen off so he though we were on the same team, I just never looked at his.

Peace,

It wasn't a barrel tag, per se. The guys I was playing with probably wouldn't have understood that anyway. Crawled to within 5' of a guy and just said "Bang your dead." Sounds kind of cheesy, should have just tagged him...

Sniping? 5-7ft. And by sniping I mean ghillied out laying in the brush ambushing people. How close have I actually gotten? I could reach out and touch people countless times. I just shoot them though; I almost feel bad shooting people from point blank range, but my first couple "surrenders" turned and tried to shoot me, then I said to hell with that. If it was a rule that they HAD to surrender, then sure, but I refuse to give them the choice

In one of the other threads I posted a story about how close I was to someone, but long story short, I was directly beside him, and I even poked him and kicked him in the @$$, he was asleep, and he rolled off the side of the Hill/Cliff when I kicked him.

While sniping I laid down right next to a trail, the guys I play with are mostly newbs and still havent figured out I like to hid in the woods and not have gunfights on the trail. Well, anyways I was layin right on the edge of the trail because they came up on me as I was changing positions. 3 walked by, and as the forth walked by I reached out and tripped him up. HAHA I shot 2 of em and then one of em got me. It was pretty funny cause the guy I tripped had no clue i was there...
