Ok so Im deciding between a 6 position stock and a SAW stock, which would be more conveniant for a broadsword setup?

Thats totally player preference... I recommend holding a marker with each stock on it.

I use a SAW... I like the fit of it and like using the flip up wire on it to "hang" it on my shoulder.

I have tried both, and I much prefer the SAW stock, the slight downward angle makes it much easier to sight down the marker than with the CAR stock. Plus the wire flip up makes it super comfy to hold for a long time.

I prefer air on marker. If you are using your Ion, just get a tank cover (to help keep it in place) and tuck the tank into your shoulder. It allows much more dexterity for switching hands, an often overlooked skill. You could play in a 24 hour scenario with the money you save on the stock!

I got to go with the majority here and vote for the SAW used the real thing in the army and knew how well that stock worked in combat scenarios that we trained in and knew that would be my best bet but againit's really up to you and how it feels on your shoulder.

I would also recomend the SAW stock. It is the next thing on my list of things to buy.

agreed. If you are using an ion, just use a tank cover. More solid then a stock and a wider surface area to grip your shoulder with too. I only use stocks on my SC pump markers now, as they have no tank to use as a stock. Anything else i just use a tank, just easier and cheaper.

agreed, but you also may want to consider folding stocks, they are nice to have so just in case you end up needing a smaller profile/gun it helps, trust me, in some situations you do not want a large gun, no matter what position you play...

I know that you did not make it an option, but I would wait for the new dogleg. They work just as well if not better than the SAW's plus they have a nice opening to put your head in. Makes aiming a lot easier.
Someday you will die somehow and somethin's gonna steal your carbon.
