Well, I was at the field yesterday (I'm new, only 2 months of experience).
I see these big group of kids, about 13-15 years old. They all had ripped out top of the line invert-mini's X7's, etc...
They kept dry firing and talking about how good they are.
Well this one guy challeneged 5 of them to a 1v5, you'd think he would lose right?
He also goes ahead and uses this 50$ wal-mart gun http://discountelectronics.ezwebmall.biz/c...html?language=1

Game starts, the kids start shooting like mad for no reason, the guy hides behind a bunker. He pops up on the right side of the bunker, takes 3 shots, and gets one of the kids *insert annoying bratty complaining kid here*.

The other kids thought that since their guns were better, they would win. So they just put their e-grips on automatic, and started shooting at the bunker even though the person was still behind it. Needless to say they ran out of paint pretty quickly, and while they were re-loading, our man here runs up to their bunker, shoots 3 of them, and bunker tags the last one.

It was AMAZING, seriously, I will never doubt crappy paintballs again. He proved that its the player, not the gun.

i'm willing to bet this guy is, if not a pro, somebody who's played a whole bunch of tourneys. and he was probably grinning under his mask when they accepted his challenge.

woulda been cooler if he used a pump.

sad part is, for every time this happens, there's five times where it backfires.

...which can also be interesting to watch.
We rode on the winds of the rising storm,
We ran to the sounds of the thunder.
We danced among the lightning bolts,
and tore the world asunder.

Heh, this reminds me of the time I snapped an ego-toting teen with my phantom... with a crowd watching :)
