I had never had a fiber wrapped tank before, and I was worried I would scratch it to hell if I used one of these... so I got a Proto cover to be safe...

But my Ninja tank would look SO good with just one of these on. :(

My 'Mag has a bit of a red motif at the moment... feedneck ring, ASA, red/black Prophecy...yeah, it would look sweet if I wasn't worried about killing my $200 tank by accident on a tree or something!

played woods for quite a bit of time, never had that opportunity, I figured if the tank is going to rupture on something a thin cotton covering wont do much anyways

I guess I was worried about the fibres themselves - not sure how durable the coating is but you're basically done if you cut any fibers aren't you?

you can have small gashes in the resin outside which wont do anything, but once you cut the carbon fiber itself chances are the tank will just go down hill.
once you cut carbon fiber it just starts to unravel.

I figure it's a safer bet to keep the cover then if my girlfriend will get to use the Mag when she comes out

She'll come out if I plan a whole big thing with a bunch of her friends included but she actually doesn't like the idea of holding or pointing a "gun" :( she was very excited when she shot my buddy in the neck right off the break in a woods game though...hahaha she didn't even know she was the one that hit him until he said you shot me! :P

Biggest pain in the ass is people saying "Maybe" and then not going ... if you don't want to just say NO lol

True. I think the worst one was over 40-50 people, 17 saying going for sure, the rest maybe (about 20 "No"s).... 8 came, including myself. Weak!

Dumb thing was, we weren't ALLOWED to get the 3 hour rental package anymore because we needed 10 people renting... and half of us had equipment lol.
