Heh. I have an aresload of legos. My brother and I argue over who gets them. I say... me. He says himself. Most likely, it will be whoever has kids first. Or perhaps we will resolve to leave them with our parents for our children to use? Who knows.

One thing... it doesn't match in color! That was one thing with legos.. it HAD to match. Could be my OCD, but everything had to match. We would build medievil towns.. all buildings were one color. The docks were matching. Most buildings were gray or red. My favorite was the time we built a 'modern' town that was about 3'x5'. We even used thread for power lines and put up traffic lights. Winter time growing up on a farm left us with a lot of free time...

Spaceships had to match. Other stuff I wasn't too picky about, but I converted my entire "Ice Planet" set -- and I had damn near the whole set -- into black and orange. It was tight. And it took freaking forever.

This building..... hmmmm........ I remember one from Civ 4 that was just like this, but I had to google it to find the name. Does it start with an M?

Same here. Though I would build lego sets, as we never got any random block stuff.

What about Lincoln Logs? Anyone else build towns with them? One time, I did a Civil War battlefield with lincoln logs and used Playmobil Civil War characters to fight a battle.

Not really on the lincoln logs. There was a set at my grandma's house that I played with.

Come to think of it, we did have lincoln logs.. but the legos got used much more. More versatile. And when I wasn't playing with legos, I was shooting stuff with a BB gun or helping my dad. I remember the days when we still pitched hay to the heifers. Bah. I hated pitching hay. Don't mind it so much now though. I never had to help feed pellets.. mostly because I wasn't big enough to carry a 5gallon bucket full. I just jumped in the back of the truck and shoveled it down into the trough for my dad.

Somebody drag pig back in here. I've been searching the net for the building. I'm still saying Temple of Diana.

Man.. I could never sell my favorite toys. I want my own kids to enjoy them. That and BB guns. My kid needs to know the joys of the Pumpmaster 760 BB gun.

Lego's were always cool i still have a huge box full of them. When my daughter gets a little older I'll have to bust them out/ I think it looks like the Jewish High Temple.

[elitist]Man, I have so many more bricks from childhood than you do... (Probably close to 4,000 bricks at this point)[/elitist]

Anytime I got to break the Legos out for school, it meant the project was actually fun for me.
