I painted a buddy's gun this week.
I quite like it.
Thoughts ?

As usual, sir, your painting skills are outstanding. Has a Mulicam-like vibe to it, but unique. I likes! Keep up the fine work.

Cheers !

The hip is better every day.
About on par with the soreness I had prior to surgery,
except I need a cane as support for the next while.
Almost ready to add weights to the physio, if the doc gives me the OK.
I anticipate a solid recovery within the next few months.
Luckily it's minus 30 celcius outside, so I'm not really missing any play time.
Spring will be tough to sit through though, I'm sure !
Sunday paintball has been my 'going to church' for a long time.

I also finished my own gear (addition of the flatline).

He has zero tips about maintenance or any other aspect of gun care.
This was the dirtiest set of internals I've ever seen.
Far worse than any rentals I've had to maintain.
Paint caked hard over everything.
It was unbelievable !
He's never done more than a 1/2 arsed wipe on the outside, the odd time.
Two & 1/2 years with no care, what-so-ever !
His is, without a doubt, the straightest shooting marker I've ever
had the opportunity to try though.
Aim down the sights ... hits there ... every time, crappy balls excluded.
I thoroughly cleaned it during this production.
Hopefully I haven't pooched it !
HA !

The paint job looks really good, but I feel you left a little too much black unpainted. The ASA, barrel adapter ring, and hopper elbow should have been painted as well IMO.
