Underground Mod Shop has been working with industry leaders and is proud to announce the Mark II version of our popular and versitle Short Striker Rail.

The Short Striker Rail MkII is a natural evolution of the original UMS SSR. It has similar looks to the original, but has been completly redesigned, enhancing it's feature list with mil spec hard anno, lighter weight, fewer total parts, tighter tolerences, and features "tough nutz" retention to assure a solid mounting to your Tippmann A-5.

Is a new Top Rail for the A-5 really newsworthy? Isn't there a bunch of these type of rails already circulating? It does look pretty cool, just like all the other rails.

I wouldn't call it useless. It's a flat-top weaver rail running the length of the gun, and clearing the rear sight. You should be able to use any accessories on it even with a stock. I like it. I see it as a solution if you're into using stocks but also want a red dot.

I already have a rail system from UMS, but I'm picking this one up too. It's good quality work, no plastic.

If I were an A-5 guy, I'd probably get one, if only because it looks so much cooler... :(. I don't think I'd actually use it for anything.

I just bought a PCS US-5 player pack for $60, I'm going to Dogleg for it, and maybe throw on of these on there too.

I'm not sure if it will work on the PCS US-5. I will check for you.

Looks like the Old One, but I like the one I got from Tacamo for my A5.
