Love the way it looks. It's a great gun so I will only list the bad things.

-way to heavy
-loud
-need to purchace an E-Grip to truly expereance the cyclons speed
-If you don't pull the shroud before you unscrew the barrel the picatinny rails tend to cut up your hand
-barrel sometimes feels like it's fully threaded when it's not
-takes about 5+ mins. to take apart
-oh, and did I mention it's way to heavy

beside all of the above it's a great gun, and i'm starting to get used to the weight issue.

Lighten up. Granted, it's definitely not the best review, bu no need to flame him for it.

To the thread starter, you bring up some good points. But when you only focus on the bad, you make your review look extremely biased.

I am crazy happy with my X-7...after working out the over-oiled problem from the factory and polishing the internals she shoots mean. The weight? I,ve got bolt ons out the DUMPER and she's still lighter than a cordless drill. Looks are bad DUMPER too! :ghillie:

K, my post was edited but we all know what "dumper" stands for... :usa:

.... To heavy...This gun is allmost To light in my Honest opinion, I like the gun to have alittle weight to it so it feels more sturdy, im getting used to its lightness, I can tell ill be alot faster off my feet than with my A5.
Get the Rt you will "Experience" the full power of the darksi...cyclone..
I can field strip the marker in under 60 seconds.
Oh and did I mention its way to light.. but it works, Enjoy the fine peice of machinery you own.

I don't think many ppl undestod my review, I would never trash talk a Tippmann, I love them. I'v been shooting Tippmanns since the Pro-Lite was the newest gun from Tippmann. And as for the X7, the gun is amazing and I love it. I just wish it was a little lighter, and easier to take apart. And as for the statment of the 98 custom being heavier, Your wrong. I have a 98 c with a 16" barrel and it's still lighter then the X7, as for the A-5 I wouldn't know i'v never owned, or shot one. Oh, and to see pics of my X7, and 98 c, check out my Brigade page. P.S. to thewraith Whats up Juggalo!, howd you like the Tempest? I think it's great.

Oh, and the request for me to list the good:
-super fast
-amazingly realistic
-unlimmited customizing possibilitys
-so many picattany rails you could hook a car to it
-The gun dosn't quit (I shot with co2, the day i got it I blasted thru the hopper as fast as i could with no gun frezz)
-No ball breaks when tested (I put a case thru it with co2 on a 50 degree day)
-The stock 8.5 inch barrel is amazingly accurate
- The mags storage are is great
-The low profile hopper is the best i'v ever used (it dosn't get in your way)

And their are also many other great things about the X7. I tested it before i bought it, Why would I pay $300 for a gun I didn't like. The first line of my original post says it all. I'm not hear to diss Tippmann or any or thier markers.

um...not much of a review here but I'd like to clarify on the weight issue...

My X7 is noticeably lighter than my 68 classic automag...which is half the size. That's what impressed me the most, how light it was.

You think you're markers heavy. My A-5 is 12+ pounds, without paint or air. (just the air tank screwd in, not full)

I never said the X7 was heavier then an A-5. I simply stated that in my opinion the X7 is too heavy. (I will say it is heavier then a 98 c, anyone who doubts this can simply prove there-self wrong by taking a stock 98c, and a stock X7, and weigh them. You will find that the X7 is heavier.
