There actually is turf designed for paintball. One of the reason's is that it cleans up easier.

Here's an example: link

Turf any day, you can't dig your barrel into it.

Whoa, Slink is a mod? Nice!

I like turf, but only when you clean it. I played on turf at in indoor field in Connecticut, Splatter Zone (they shut down), and it was horrible. Sure it was easy to slide on and was good, but near the back walls it was like an ice rink cause of all the paint that accumulated. Also, it turned every part of your gear blacker. It would get on your hands and would take a long time to get off. It wasn't short turf, it was longer turf, kinda was was mentioned above me.

Artificial Grass is full of win, the field that i play CFOA tournys at has a custom made turf and its like sliding on a mattress, yet it grips like asphalt...pure win

Real "growing in the ground" grass.

Artificial turf does not leave grass stains or mud on your clothes, and is therefore clearly inferior.... ;)

im a fan of artificial grass.......it feels a TON better than AstroTurf and it doesnt get muddy and torn up like grass can....

...AstroTurf gets ungodly slippery when paint is broken on it......

i like (mainly cause thats all ive played in...) sand... its easy to slide on, it doesnt hurt if you fall (yes i have) and it doesnt get slippery... only drawback is that it gets all over your grips and turn them whatever color the most popular paint is that month at the field...

I've only ever played on grass fields. But I have a question, wouldn't astro-turf get really slippery from all the oil from the paint? I wear cleats and I think it would be slippery from the oil.
Hey baby, wanna come over to myspace so i can twitter your yahoo till I google all over your facebook?

Golf shoes? The golf shoes that I own, I could not run in those without worrying about rolling an ankle.
