Well, since it's an A5 it's really not suited to the task.

Yea, it is really loud, but i got it brand new for $150 and i was short on cash at the time so i took it. I like the Q-bow though, but i sure as heck cant afford that now.

As long as you are comfortable with it that's all that really matters. You have a consistent air source and a smooth barrel so you're going to be shoot just about as well as everyone else.

The overall setup looks nice, I might recommend an air-through stock, and red dot sight, but I think it looks great.

I use an A-5 for also, and with good paint to barrel match it is plenty accurate.

Yea, I'm looking into the dogleg stock but I'm sick and havent been out to try the new setup other then in the basement this year, then I'll decide on what stock and if i need any optics. Paint to barrel is a perfect Marb to .688 J&J bore kit  Any reccomended optics?

I currently use an ADCO Sure Shot, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It was nice for about a month, and then it got hit on the side with a paintball. When I cleaned the paint off the lens some of the water leaked inside and figged up the lens. The dot has been a blur ever since.

I'm looking into getting one of these sights;(I'm currently trying to figure out who manufactures them)

I think the pods are too much but that's just me. Part of being a sniper is being Recon. Most of the time you try not to have to fire at all and if so, intelligently. A 200 round hopper should last you at least 2 games before you have to refill it.

Now as an overall set-up (cuz you can't snipe all the time), smart.

I like it. I'm getting into my sniper game with a similiar setup. A-5 , R/T, remote line, 16" barrel, dogleg and 40mm red dot. I think your setup, like mine, is a good beginner setup. I think that if you stick with the sniper game, you will be able to fine tune it to fit your style of sniper-play. The A5's are a bit loud, but if you get your one-shot's and hiding down it shouldn't be too big of a problem. Good luck.

i would DEFINITELY add some sort of stock to your marker. anything is better than nothing. it will give you a consistent sight picture (you know you'll be aiming the same way every time).

To each his own. If you like it, then it's good. I'd hate that setup. I hate remotes and I hate having anything heavy attached to my legs or belt, especially if it isn't secured perfectly. The A-5 is a good beginner gun but I wouldn't buy one for $100. I go with REAL Tippmann quality and use a SL-68 II with a heavily modified business end. I actually use it more than my Phantom at the moment because of the angle of the t-stock on the 45 grip puts the gun right in my face when I shoulder it while laying down.
