Well?????????????

God Bless,
Doc

I'm asking because a might get a job reffing about 75 miles away..........

Thoughts???

I'm not doing it for the money, if they would pay me enough to break even I'd be happy.
It's just a dream of mine, I want to put on a Referee's Jersey more than I want to play.

God Bless,
Doc

Yo man its not worth it..

5 miles away from me.

With gas prices how they are now, its like driving there, reffing, getting your money, buying gas, ending you off with almost nothing!

I would say the max should be around 20 miles

Dont do it for nothing Doc, your losing money by reffing =\

Imagine how much money your losing from buying gas.

It's NOT ABOUT THE MONEY for me.
It's about Paintball Refereeing.
It's worth it to me, it just is.

I have driven for ten hours and then reffed for 4 days at a PSP event I fly into SPPL events and have been reffing for twenty years. If you think that reffing is to make money you are doing it for some of the wrong reasons. You have got to have a love for the game and want to see it go on.
Its simple I saw the hit,
Your out!!

Amen Rev. Amen......
That's why I want to Ref, I want to push the right morals forward. With all the bad sportmanship going around, someone has to WANT to keep it in check, that someone is me.

I drive about 40 miles to ref. Some of you say it isn't worth it, but it is for me. If you have a car that gets decent miles per gallon gas should be $10 at the most for the drive. Even if you do only make a little, so what, its FUN! Any you are help promoting the game in the correct way. Most people I know have regular jobs and just ref on the side, don't worry about the money, if it covers your gas money, your set!
Top ten reasons to date a paintballer:
10. We are good at moving our fingers extremely fast in small places
9. We like to slide into our positions
8. We clean our barrels often
7. We like to push hard, but not so hard we get hit
6. We love to be aggressive
5. We always wear protection
4. We can fire off 100's even 1000's of rounds without getting tired
3. At least a 10" barrel for all of us
2. We always listen to directions
1. We arn't afraid to dive face first into grass

Well for me it was a 20 minute walk
10 minute bike ride
or a 2 minute car ride....

Most ive gone to ref is 11 miles

well good for you....but mabye you can try a place closer....because some times fields need you to be jonny on the spot and 75 miles is an hour an a half minimum unless you drive like a wild man

but hope it works out

20 to 25 miles to the field. It's in the next county over. Still closest field around. And one of the best in the state. I am honored to be associated with such a good group of players and staff member. Besides it gives me something to do. Dont really have any other hobbies...
