I just watched the WARPIG video about the MacDev Cyborg. Ok, I know, it's Australian. But what makes the Cyborg better than any comparably priced marker? It looks like a brick, actually reminiscent of the original "Brick" Impulses, Timis, and all those huge stacked-tube EP's.

Which borg are you reffering to?
04/sonic/06/07?
I assume 04/ 05 sonic since those are the brick looking ones.
They have less hoses then the timmy line and are more efficient as well as the fact they have good stock parts(great barrel, reg, and lpr). Better then anything else is hard to say(you nead to say year).

Well I'm assuming the one I saw in the WARPIG video was the newest one.

yep, thats the newest one.
I dont see how its like the impulse at all, the impulse had a tray,volly,tapeworm,1 eye,it was larger, and it had its bolt completely covered by the body.

So it's really more like a Timi... my point is that it seems like just another stacked tube EP. And for $1200 I think I'd go for an Angel One.

Its very efficient and it has nice stock parts. Its all about preferance.
Its better then the a1 in terms of lack of kick, ease to adjust, more efficient, and didnt nead ultiple replacement parts in the beginning.

Someone said it had the kick of a spool valve but the air efficiency and maintainence of a poppet valve. It is extremely efficient it can get a case off of a 68/4500.

Krazy's? 'Cause I got to play with that too, and it was a sick gun. Fast and accurate.

I don't see where people get that borgs are tall from. The 06 borg is just a little taller than an 06 ego.

As for what makes borgs special, they get a case off of a 68/45, have very little kick, and are fast and accurate. Also you don't have any internal hoses to worry about.

EGos have really long regs and frames though...the borgs just have really tall bodies...so its a completely differnt feel.

Peace,
