Pretty cool wall! You should make a step by step how to thread, that would be an interesting read, might even get sticky'd...

Mad props on rockin the 98, those Tippmanns are inde-friggin-structable! Interesting setups too, they look awesome. Although I would recomend a red dot on the flatline'd 98... and maybe try out some shorter barrels, IMHO.

Where you serving?

Yeah, i could do that, shouldn't be too hard. It cost me less than $25 to do the wall!

Yes, i love my 98's. I bought the top one from a guy for $50, because he said it was "broken". The sear was worn along with the bolt, causing it to "rapid fire". Which isn't good if you cannot turn it off. A file and a belt sander took care of that :). Now it works great. i slapped my old flatline on it, and that gun is now a backup gun or a gun for a friend to use. I run with the Opsgear 98 myself. Im getting the APEX2 for it soon. Just have to order it. Im also going to be sanding the paint off the whole thing and giving it a new paint finish. im going to do all black. I'll post pic swhen that happens.

And I am on the USS Carl Vinson.

Unfortunately, no I was not at D-Day. I have never been, but would like to one of these years.

My top Tippmann is pretty common though. it is just a flat line with CAR stock and a cheap walmart scope for looks :).

Ah yes, the infamous "broken" 98 haha! I got mine for free from my cousin because his was "broken" too! Turned out the last time he broke it down for a post game cleaning he put the bolt in backwards! Punk couldn't be bothered to pop it open to see what he did wrong so instead he declared it "broken" and left it rusting in his garage for a few years. I got my hands on it, turned the bolt around, put a few drops of oil in it, and never looked back.

Sounds like that 98's about to get tactical!

Hahaha! Enjoy your next pleasure cruise, I did my time on a tin can!

Yeah, i love buying "broken" 98's.

I really want to setup a Broadsword A-5 either with an Apex, or just a flatline. I found some on Craigslist, but people overprice their stuff. I really don't care how much you spent on the gun, it's NOT WORTH WHAT YOUR ASKING! lol.

yes, i spend $150 on my flatline when it first came out. I was in high school. Took me months to afford it, now you can get one for $80 brand new! lol.

And yeah, My main is going to look sweet! Another thing i want is a mock magazine, but don't want to spend $50 for a useless fake mag you know. That's the cheapest i have seen them. I mean I'll go for a $20 one, but $50 just for looks...BLEH! I'd rather have a case of paint!

And by tin can do you mean LHD or LHA? aka "Gator Freighter"?

I already ordered mine online!

Well, for my 98. But I still wouldn't mind a good ol flatline full auto A-5 with a nice buttstock. I have always admired that gun in any game I find them in.

I remember in one of my bigger scenario games I attended in Agate, Colorado (400ish people) there were about 10-15 opponents on the other side of the small pond. Now the pond is maybe 200-250 feet across, just out of paintball range. A bunch of us were aiming about 45degrees trying with all of our might to hit them...then after much failure, we yell back to our larger force saying "WE NEED A FLATLINE!!!" and this guy ran up next to us, got in a wide sort of bracing stance, and let his fully automatic A5A2 rain down right on them. He nailed almost all of them before they realized what was going on. I will never forget that moment!

Broken 98's are the best!

Yeah that's true, people try to get back everything they spend on the thing. I guess they just don't understand the concept of depreciation...

If you want something in that department thats got the looks AND is worth the money, why not drop an extra bill and get the MAGAZINE FEED CONVERSION KIT (booming echoing announcer voice)!!!!

All the looks of a magazine and what's that? Oh my God! ALL THE FUNCTION TOO! I think they're 160 from RAP4 they're supposed to come out later this month. Got two on pre-order from a YEAR ago myself, I'll let you know if they're worth it...

Haha! I didn't realize "tin can" was a relative term... No way those things are cruise liners too, might as well be sailing the Royal Carribian! I mean a Guided Missile Frigate that got tossed around the ocean like a... tin can!

Get some nice ATS markers to complete that wall o milsim. No better milsim markers out there. The original magazine fed ,milsim paintball markers. Automated nelsons, with 30 round clips that feed from below using a belt system. Truly ingenious.

Love how things are set up. Wanted to do that myself, but then i realized how little i get out anymore and thought, god all my markers would literally be wall hangers at that point...now at least they just stay int he gear bag, not collecting dust. LOL

Looks good though.

The ATS look sick. Overall they look like they've got a briliantly simple design, with out the air issues of the Tippmann's they've got much better mag well placement, looks pretty easy to keep "light and tight" too. But the design of those belt operated magazines looks convoluted at best. Are you sure they're reliable? If there were an marker out there identical to the ATS and as cheap modable and reliable as a Tippmann with a simple spring-in-box magazine, I'd trade in my Tippmenn for a couple quick!
