I know it's early, but prereg closes June 1st. And I'm super excited, cause I just bought my hotels and plane ticket and prereged... wooohoooo!

Thats right, Bostonian Becc is back, and I'm gonna steal your R's and shoot you to boot. I'm going red team for the record.

I want to go... but alas... Money and Time Off are not friendly to me at the moment (Yes they are capitalized... they are people, didn't you know that? They are people that want to kill me slowly).

On another note, Becc... are you originally from Michigan? I see you post every year about coming to the MMG, so either you're a transplanted Michigander or just like the game. (BTW I got a friend of mine into paintball largely due to your "Bring a girl" thread. Thanks!)

Alas no, but I wish I was. I love michigan... Deschaine is my cousin, so after getting me into paintball he invited me up for the MMG. Fell in love with your state (or at least the people, I cant really force myself to pretend I like Detroit). Went back in January and coming back for this game. You guys are out to make me poor.

Unfortunately it's our state that's out to make us poor! Seems kind of ironic no? Meh, what can we do... My sister graduated yesterday and a bankruptcy judge was their guest speaker... and GM declares bankruptcy two hours later!

Anyway, back to MMG... I'd like to go, and if I get enough O.T. this month I may come down with Blue Flu and find my way down there.

Might be popping in on Sat for Global. A friend is nervous about hitting MMG as his first big game. Wants to go to Global to get a feel for it.

Becc you flying in again? If so are you traveling with your tanks or shipping them ahead? If you are traveling with them I can put the regs and valves back on them again this year.

The Michigan series makes me kinda nervous after last weekends open play. The crew I hang with at our field (owners and the field's team) go every year and said that last year there was a guy shooting frozen paintballs around 400 or 500 fps. This big guy we call "Dog" got hit in the neck and chest with one and went down gasping for air and the ref had to shield him from the incoming volley. This other kid named Andy Lee got shot by a paintball shooting so hot it went right through his pod!?! It made a hole in his pod? They caught the player and banned him for life apparently. I know these guys pretty well and they aren't messing with me. Reminds me of some other stories I've heard about Splat-Tag and some other fields. Guess it just happens at big games.

Regardless I'm going to make it to some of these this year!

Scenario ball was fun, but the rampant cheating and high prices have realy shown me that the only true way to enjoy the sport I so love is outback ball. Still there was nothing like the feeling of cranking my X7 up to 22 BPS and letting the Apex rain down clouds of red paint on anyone within 300 feet. Gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside......
- Treat your weapon as loaded until you positively identify that it is not, and demonstrate that to others to their satisfaction.
- Keep your weapon pointed in a safe direction at all times, especially when in hand.
- Do not point your weapon at anything you are unwilling to shoot.
- Keep your finger out of the trigger well until ready to shoot.
