pbreview format:

Period of Product Use:

1 year

Paintball Experience:
3 years

Similar Products Used:
Evo II, VL200, VL Quantum, Indian Springs Maxi (100 round), And other grav. fed hoppers

Marker Setup:
Smart Parts Ion, Virtue Lazer Eyes, 360 QEV, XSV Feedneck, CP Sling blade trigger, Hybrid 07 Skulls Grips, Redz Body Kit, etc.
Tippmann SL68 II
Spyder TL-R, E-trigger
Zeus G2+ Titanium

Strengths:
-Thick shell (I don't think it will break)
-Can add rip drive
-Can upgrade board to make it even faster (V35, and APE is working on one)
-All around awesome hopper. I love it, it keeps up with my marker just fine. All in all, I love my halo.
-eyes

Weaknesses:
-A little heavier than a lot of other hoppers, but no problem, not really heavy at all, fine for me.
No weaknesses that I have seen really, awesome hopper.

Conclusion:
I love this hopper and would recommend it to anyone, Even without the rip drive or V35 or anything (stock), it has exceeded my expectations.

Actually the shells are pretty prone to cracking/breaking.

Thats why you can get new shells.

Peace,

You're saying the shells are durable because you hit it on inflateable bunkers?

Not all bunkers are inflatable. He could be playing woodsball or even on a hyper ball field.

Ummm.. I don't know where you got inflatable bunkers (if your going to try to bash what I said or whatever, please spell it correctly), but I have hit it on trees, dropped it, actually fell on it once, and more, and it still works like a charm and the shell is still fine too...

Thanks t0ast.

If you are going to get a Halo you might as well shell out the extra 5 bucks for the Rip drive.
And Shadow, I agree with you about the shell feeling really strong.

I was going to get the rip drive too, but at the time I really needed money, and even without a rip, I love this hopper. And the rip drive would have been twenty dollars more for me... I will probably buy and install one soon, but right now I don't see the need for one.

The only problem I have with mine is that it eats batteries for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Other than that a very good hopper.

Lol, mine isn't too bad with batteries, although I switch out for fresh ones for each day of play most of the time to be safe. I would rather not be in the middle of a firefight and have my hopper die on me... lol (depending on how much it was used on the day I played before).

And Rip, I have considered it, but I am holding out until the APE one comes out, I haven't looked at it much, but it is supposed to be good. I should probably check it out a little more...

Nothing wrong with a halo. If you think its heavy, you must be weak as hell. I never had a problem with mine, even dorpping it plenty of times.

It is heavy compared to most other hoppers. But not heavy in itself. There, hows that?

Hows that? Why are you asking me what I think of your opinion?

Yes compared to both my eggs, it is heavy.

No, I was not asking what you think. Read the bold, and you may understand why I wrote that. If not. Whatever.
