Here is my little addition.

Ghillie suit is home made. It's my fourth one in the last 10 years. Play fields are central Ohio most of the time, but I found it works well in PA at the Invasion Of Normandy big game.

First, do NOT forget your gun. I don't know how many times I have spoted people in a ghillie suit simply because they failed to camo their marker.

Here is one of me in my living room. notice my mask is well ghillied, and yes, that is a camera on top.

my hiding spot was rather obvious, but we actually lost the top part once at a game for a while because i set it on the ground for a minute and then couldn't find it!

Hand made, not from a kit... just Kohl's sale long-sleeve t-shirt and pj pants and cheapo mesh balaclava with camo leaf-cut cloth sheets. Need to mod the balaclava to fit the goggles better tho. The hole is smaller than my lenses so it keeps cutting off my periferal or shifting over my eyes. I have to keep pulling at it.

My Ghillie Poncho Version 2.0

Mods:

- "washed" the Ghillie by US armed forces standards

- added more brown jute

- Remade my Ghillie Mask, made it with OD Green Jute and Brown Jute

The following pics are with nearly all my gear on. Mic plugged into my Comm, MARPAT Do-Rags to cover my neck, gloves similar to ones used by the USMC with suade on the front for better grip, reversed MARPAT Garrison Cover, MARPAT shirt, OD Green military issue socks, black jungle boots, MARPAT Jacket and pants, USMC issued MARPAT hydration pack, and a woodland MARPAT assault vest.

All of it with my Ghillie on.

Forgot I had some outdoor photos of mine.
I'm by my garage so you can easily see me, but still see how well it blends with the other plantlife.

Here's just me standing outside... my mom took the pic with the flash  so that's why the colors are pale compared to the previous one.

I finally was able to get a good shot of my Ghillie. This time it is hanging up on a double hook on my wall.

My mom lets me keep it in my room so bad kinds of bugs don't get into it. I don't argue I just respected her wishes.

After the catastrophe of making the top half of my ghillie suit, this is what I came up with:
Posted Image

How do you guys make the burlap have a more shaggy look? And what can I do to improve this? The ghillie is only on the back side. There's also my A-5 in a gun rag, just gotta fix it up a bit so I can actually use my red dot and cover the tac hopper.

Here are some indoor pictures of my three current projects. One a completed woodland BDU Shirt, an incomplete pair of Woodland BDU pants (just needs jute now), and my desert/winter grassland coveralls.
