okay so eventually when i save up enough money to own two a-5's i am going to mod them to make them look like SMG's, i don't need help on how to do this i have that part covered, but what i am wondering is how i would dual-weld them. i probably am going to just have http://www.specialopspaintball.com/shop/pr...&CAT=113202 for loaders or q-loaders or maybe just regular loaders, but what i am wondering is since i am dual welding them, how would i reload them??? do i install slings on them and drop one, and reload the other, then switch or what????? please help, it would be appreciated, thanks

A q-loader would not be a bad idea. Yeah you could put slings on them and just hang one on your shoulder while swapping out the pods.
The problem with socialism is that you'll eventually run out of other people's money.

That's what I would do; it's relatively cheap and doesn't sound like it would be a big hassle in a game. Quick question: how are you going to make them light enough to dual wield? I've used an A5, and one is a burden after a few hours of play in the stifling Florida heat I live in. I couldn't imagine 2 A5s...

Better question:

How do you expect to hit anything? Seriously. Halo is a video game, this is real life. You can't hit jack with an A-5 in each hand. But by all means, buy 2 A-5's and find out for yourself.

Yeah....You have to remember, you don't have a targetting reticule any more...

If you're really hardcore about doing this, first consult with Lil'C. He has two A-5's that are basically stock A-5s with 3 inch snub noses. I believe he uses two R5 hoppers on them too...It's his "Dagger" set up.

I could see doing this but I'd call it a machine pistol not an SMG. my SMG setup wouldn't be real good for a dual wield. I would try to use a 3 point sling on each one, or you could just set down behind a bunker and reload one at a time.

I do think it would be hard to use 2 A-5s simultaneously but I would do it in close quarters. it's more for multi-directional shooting , not just a cool look or for more firepower. I would usually be holding an A-5 in one hand, and then if I came around a bad corner I would draw my Tac 8 in my left, until I knew it was safe.

Just remember using Q-pods is going to be even more front heavy as all the weight is now under the barrel.

yea umm...from the world of hammers and i guess you could call us the official "dual wield kings" trying to shoot/hold/load/carry/ any 2 markers is not a good idea. i've done it with pistols and its mroe of a pain than you can imagine.

howeve rif you're absolutely dead set on it, think lightweight.

i would aslo suggest you go try to borrow a friends a5 and play a few games with 2 guns before you spend a bunch of money and realise...wow that wasnt too smart.

Not necessarily, I've seen Q-Pods attached to markers in a way that they are on the receiver or around the ASA. I don't know how to do it or where to find out how to do it, but Google would be your best bet if that's the route you want to take.

I disagree, and here is my defense.

What you could do, is get a shorter stock (longbow, collapsible, something short) and a sling for each A5. Make sure that the sling is short enough so that the weight is on the sling, which is on your shoulder. Then use the stock that is pushed into your shoulder to "Zen shoot."

Ive always wanted to do this, but as most paintballers, Im poor. lol Just a suggestion, either cut down the A-5 stock barrel, or better (if you can afford it) get 2 HH sharktooth barrels. Then you would be throwin massive paint and doin it accurately. But I guess if you're gonna buy 2 A-5s, 2 Qloaders, RT or E-grips, etc etc that the barrels wont be any problem lol Good luck with that though!

I don't usually tell people that their ideas arent going to work but as an A-5 owner and not a small person (high school bench was 315) i can say that dual weilding a-5's is going to prove to be impossibly difficult... if you do it, you will have to hang them from slings as others have suggested and if you do that you have already lost the "awesome" effect.... however, props to pneumaniac for the useful link and.... if you are dead set on doing this.... you will need alot of paint and the only ralistic solution i can think of is www.turtlebackpack.com its not cheap... but neither are two a-5's.... good louck!
