I bought a 16in. smart parts progressive barrel for 35.00 and it was worth the low price. The accuracy is the best part and the consisinty and the range even with low amounts of air. its cheaper than alot of other barrels and works just as well.

Same. I got the 16 in. a few months back. First day i used it, my elimination ratio was 4:1. I fell in love with it in an instant. And it also wastes no more gas than a regular barrel, which goes against the common "16. inch barrels just waste gas" myth.

I have the 16" for my MR1 and it is accurate at roughly 125ft. I mean i can hit a 1 ft wide square with every shot.

i have a 16inch 06 progressive barrel and i love it. my friends all have smartparts and the one problem i noticed was the old progressives had a bad paint to bore match and i found the progressive for the a-5 to break sometimes, so i found that the new progressive is better in the fact that smartparts combined the teardrop(which is a fonaminal barrel for its price)and the ever famous progressive barrel to create a better overall barrel for a cheap price.
man im awsome

Yup, thats me:)

Even though the thing is stupidly long when I am moving through the bunkers and paper trees on my local field, this barrel rocks!

Its very quiet, especially with my LPK, and I noticed a good increase in accuracy from the 14" J&J Ceramic I used to use. (*That was a great barrel too, btw*).

At about 100-120', I can hit a pop can 3 out of 5 times, with the other two being just a few inches off, as realistic as i can make the shot (*full gear, on the field we play on, bunkers and branches in the way, crouch, lying, or cover position, etc*).

But I gotta tell ya, even with a collapsible stock like I run, you are gonna bang this thing into *everything* AND end up ramming it muzzle first into trees and the ground as you dive for cover and run around, its just really fricking LONG!

I have taken to carrying the stock 8" barrel in my vest to switch out once the ranges decrease and I am looking at more CQB action.

Yeah i have to agree. I have a smart parts pregressive, 14 in. and its perfect for my gun, the balls don't break as often and the best part was it was cheap. Definitely what I was looking for and great for the price.

I have one, I have to say, it's got the best accuracy i have ever seen. I have no problems running through the woods with it. I've never ran it muzzle first into a tree before. And, the Smart parts 20" linear is cheaper than the JJ ceramics 16 inch. I like it alot. Sure, the ball is slowed down quite a bit. But it is definately worth the increased accuracy. And, it only wastes about 20 balls per 20oz tank.
